She has also worked as a Court Appointed Advocate for abused and neglected children and served in shelters for abused women.

Being called to counsel and coach, she also helps those struggling in all areas of their lives, not only abuse.
Grounded in Christ, with a spirit of advocacy, resulting from her own abuse, she founded Unspoken Courage, a counseling and coaching ministry for survivors. Whether it is through life coaching, counseling, or advocacy, her goal is to be a voice for those silenced by the harsh realities of life.
To further this important work, she founded Breaking Free to Be Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education and training aimed at decreasing and preventing sexual assault and domestic violence, specifically in African American and faith-based communities. You can learn more about this organization here: Breaking Free to Be – Building Connections to Bridge the Gaps.

Grief is not about forgetting, it is about moving forward and learning to live differently.
Client will be guided toward emotional healing and spiritual growth through self-discovery. It is not what you can change about yourself but allowing GOD to change you. You will understand through counseling, the focus is not on what you do, but learning why you do it, and make changes based on this knowledge.
This group meets for six sessions, as we use a holistic bible-based approach to healing!
“The Lord is near to those who are discouraged; he saves those who have lost all hope.” Psalm 34:18 (GNT)

Survivors of Rape and Sexual Assault can spend the rest of their lives trying to put the fragments of their lives together. Is it easy, No! Is it possible, YES!
Talking about the abuse and finding healthy ways in which to cope is an important step in the right direction. Our trauma group offers just that. It is biblically based, so you will learn how to seek GOD during this trying time in your life.
Children experience trauma too. Sadly, more often than we like to admit. We will explore ways to identify problem behaviors resulting from trauma, ways to respond to children that encourages them to express their pain, and how we can respond in accordance with the bible.
This groups is not for children. It is for adults who want to help children who experienced trauma.
All families have conflicts, but when there is a pattern of control and manipulation, it is domestic abuse. God calls us to treat family members with respect and kindness, and unfortunately, this is not always the case in our homes. Our trauma group will discuss what the bible says about domestic abuse, and how to help people trapped in abusive situations.

I have been afforded the opportunity to work with women in a variety of my social circles. At least one woman shares with me they have been assaulted at some point in their lives, but never told anyone. They have learned to "deal" with it.
My experiences have taught me that women who “deal” with it are those who may experience intimacy issues, trust issues, or suffer from anxiety, and maybe depression.
You do not have to deal with it! You want to live your life freely. You want to be free from all that is holding you back from truly living in your purpose. You deserve it, and I can help you through my six-months coaching program.
This is a program designed to help you find ways to navigate the complexities of trauma, uncover the misconceptions of sexual assault, expose the barriers that block your blessings to emotional healing and restoration.
